We were parked by the roadside when a passing car threw up a stone and broke a window on the side of the van- O'Brien's Glass fixed it. Nice.
Few months later we are driving along, and on checking my mirrors I noticed the window unlocked and moving about. Stopped, fixed it and no more problems.
Today, at home and cleaning the van, making new curtains and cleaning carpets. It was a bit windy, and I noticed the rubber seal hanging from the top of the window, and on closer inspection, the frame broken and the glass out of place.
Looks like we need a new window - 3 times proves it!
Yeah Woosey, I believe things go in 3's, so hopefully its over now
Thanks Gerty, glass half full!
It's on the "to do" list for next week. As its school holidays, we planned to be home, do a bit of stuff in the van and take off as soon as school is back, so the time is right.
You know every thing in my life has come in 3;s always and sinse Pete and i have been on the road its still happens, its just one of those yhings mum taught me that was OOO so true. Hope everything comes up Rosie for you,now and you can relax. Hugss x Safe Travles
It all worked better that I thought, as the window only needed a $2 joiner piece in the corner, and its all fixed.
So, thinking I'd escaped a big spend, I asked the repair man to install new lights all around. Bad move! He has had trouble getting parts, and so we are still waiting !
See, can't avoid the 3 thing!
School goes back Monday, and we were hoping to be away Tuesday- here's hoping.
