Never Iron Again

I just read yeoeleven blog. He was embarrassed to wear a wrinkled tshirt out for dinner.

Here is the answer....One teaspoon of cheap lavender oil mixed to 1 litre of water. Put in spray bottle, mthen spray your clothes when you put them on. Works a treat.

Google " Lavender Oil ironing": for more info

Cheers

Chris

Last time I used an iron it was to iron a veneer strip onto a piece of timber!

Hate ironing.
My theory is not to let stuff dry with wrinkles, and then not to store garments all squashed up.
For years I have said " if it lives on a hanger, it dries on a hanger" and this way I get no wrinkles or peg marks.

I don't buy hard to care for clothes.

I used my iron once in 2 years - had to put in the best effort for a funeral.

My wife bought an iron for $5 at a weekend market in Katherine a few weeks back, reckons she has enough wrinkles without her clothes contributing to the effect.biggrin

He tells porky pies - I haven't picked up an iron in at least six months - and don't intend to do so in the forseeable future either!

I gave away my iron years ago and haven't missed it at all. I buy clothes on the principal that if something really needs ironing then it has no place in my life.

I'm like you Woosy. I've just realised why... the washing machine at home spins a lot harder than caravan park ones, ergo wrinkles. Now I'm gonna try to change the washing machine spin-speed! smile

I'm with you, anything that needed ironing got worn once only and still hangs unironed. Much better things to do.
