Waruma Dam

Only 120kms from Boynedale Bush Camp to Waruma Dam Camps6 #454 but not without difficulty as my other post related.
This is a fine camp site with plenty of camping along the dam in 2 main areas with a toilet block situated above and in between them both. There were many campers here when I arrived but it was not hard to find a spot. There was a group of solo CMCAs grouped together, they seemed to spend the day congregating around a table/seat area and doing nothing but talk. I introduced myself and talked for a while but soon left to talk with other campers.
There is no internet here am considering leaving tomorrow and heading to Mundubbera where there is a branch of the Bendigo Bank and I can transact some business that has been in a abeyance since Charters Towers. This is the first chance I have had without going to the coast to access a branch. John

Beautiful spot to camp, we were there late 2011 when there was plenty of water, but have also been there when there was none!
