good idea, I came across a bloke who used rubber strips, but they smelled ,this one is better.

I have used cotton balls with petroleum jelly and that works too. Not sure of the burn time though.
We put our used teabags in a screw-top jar with kerosene in it .
The best , easiest and cheapest fire lighters I've come across .
We also use the teabag and kero for firelighting ,just need to make sure the bags are dried before putting them in the kero.
