Haven't stayed there, but we have a rental property in Beachmere.
The park seems pleasant enough.
It is a street back from the water, at low tide lots of sand/mud flats but a nice outlook.
There are a lot of semi permanent residents in the park - i think there were some problems a short time ago.

we stayed at Beachmere in April this year for 6 weeks, nice quiet park and clean and tidy...........is run by the Lions Park, can recommend it.

The Beachmere Caravan Parks is privately operated.
Have stayed ther a number of times and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when we're in Rockhampton.

John you have just got Gracemere mixed up with Beachmere , Beachmere is just north of Deception Bay in Queensland

Yep! You're right, mixed them up.
Haven't been to Beachmere, but Gracemere is terrific.

Geez ozjohn, we are from that area.
For a minute ther I thought the kids must have moved the area so we couldn't come back to annoy them!

P.S. When we started our 2 year researching af caravans, you gave me a lot of good advice.
We didn't buy one of the brands mentioned, but we are very happy with our decision.
