Where is everyone tonight??

I don't believe I am saying this but I think I miss the antics of Doug, Wombat and Dazren hmmhmmhmm

I am bored silly as I am playing nurse to mum. . . . she got a cold and due to coughing she broke two ribs and a compound fracture of the vertebrae.  She has osteoporosis and rheumatoid arthritis, so breaking bones is very easy to do.

So I am sitting here thinking some practical joking would not go astray and it has been soooooo quiet without Wombat and Doug.  Although Doug has been popping in and out and I know he has been sick so I hope he is okay.  I also know that Dazren is packing to move house which leaves me, playing on my own which is no fun because you cannot play practical jokes on yourself for goodness sake.

Okay I think I have done too much nursing in the past week I am going stir crazy biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

I have been snooping around Michelle, keeping an eye out for your behaviour and I must say you have been a very good girl, I think I will give you a brownie point.

I am enjoying meeting GN's in Townsville and being with my two Daughters, Son In-law, Granddaughter and Grandson.

I am still a little off colour but getting better I think. At least the bones are thawed out now.

I'm having a few nights with a cousin in Tamworth. Recovering from the flu and hoping that the coughing will stop completely any time soon. Still en route to Bribie to visit my sister. Making the most of being out and about with the van. I do so enjoy it.
I hope mum recovers very soon. Was feeling like I had cracked a few ribs at the height of the flu, it's a nasty one.
Cheers

Well I'm a day late at answering Michelle, but last night I was watching The Hangover, which everyone raved about when it came out. It was funny, but too many 'F's for me, I'm afraid.

I know exactly how you feel while looking after your Mum. Keep your chin up. wink

Oh! and I'm home in sunny Logan!

Missed your message last night Michelle - I am in beauiful downtown Renmark SA - the days are lovely and the nights are chilly.  Moving on tomorrow but I'm not sure which way to go as I have looked at weather forecasts and nowhere I have been looking at gets above 15 until next week - bummer!!!

Cheers, Helen

We are in Keppel Sands, should have been behind the pub at Marlborough but the pilot wanted to keep going for one more hour. Stopped at Yaamba QLD , set up the chairs, made coffee, then went "No way I can sleep here for the night with the noise of the traffic! Let's go!" felt like it was the pilot's turn tomaje choice for the night. Headed off down the road then realized the symbol in Camp 6 was day only. Ended up driving out to Emu Park. Had a meal from the local - great veggies, think the beast got lost in the woods for awhile before the last round up. All about the trip not the destination!!

I could not get into the Olympics this time around Neil and Lynne.  Don't know what it was but it just didn't do anything for me.  I did not like ch9 doing it at all, they did a very ordinary job of it.  I absolutely love ch7 doing the Olympics I personally think there is no one better to do them.

I hope you enjoyed the closure though smilesmile

A wee bit cold here in Inverell tonight so I am sitting almost on top of my heater lol.

I know what put me off watching the Olympics this time. Ch 9, Eddie McGuire to be specific. Can't stand the man.

I'm catching up with emails and rest at home after a long trip up the Strez Track to about 250 kms NE of Innamincka.
It was a long week on a very rough road and I'm buggered!

I am sorry to hear that you are still off colour Doug hope you get back to 100% health very soon, because we have some practical joking to make up hehehe.

 Hey Evie n Rhys

So you are in Tamworth hey??  You are only 2 1/2 hours away from us here in Inverell lol.  Much prefer here than Tamworth though.

Thanks for your good wishes for my mum I thought she was on the mend but she had a major setback today so I am thrilled she is seeing the dr tomorrow, it does not look good.

Take care

Michelle

There was no time frame Beth hehehe.  Not sure I have even heard about The Hangover but I agree swearing in movies is really not needed to make it a better movie, I cannot stand it when it is used just for the sake of it.

Back in sunny Logan hey, well it is going to be damn well cold again here tonight so I have to make sure to fill my ho****er bottle up and then fight my little dog Shaman for it in bed.  He tends to hog the water bottle until it loses its warmth and then he lets me have it nonono  When it is not too cold he lies along my spine and acts like a heater which is wonderful.

I know some people will shudder about my dog sleeping with us but he is an indoor dog and he is only little although he thinks he is a great dane lol.  But my home my rules and I say he can sleep in our bed in the winter awwawwaww

When is your next trip out Beth?

Michelle

Hi Helen, ahhh SA lovely place it was where I was born and where I later went back when I was married the first time and had my first daughter there as well lol.

That's right Helen everywhere you look is going to be miserable for the next week I think, or so the weatherman said. . .sorry!!

I'm having a short trip at the end of August. Leaving here on the 29th, spend a couple of days with friends in Toowoomba, then on to Jondaryan Woolshed for a long weekend with Sis, Bro and their spouses. I may then head north for a couple of days to visit Marj(Happywanderer). Not sure about that yet.
