I am excited every day - something new happens every day - in the last week have stayed in a rainforest, met beautiful people, been to free camps - more interesting people - may or may not move on tomorrow - depends whether the sun is shining or not!

Hey Billeeeee, you know you can put in your claim for the pension 13 weeks before you qualify. Saves waiting for the red tape when you actually reach OAP age, everything is already done. Don't forget to get the little red book from CL telling you what you are entitled to as an OAP. Some of the lurks and perks are really helpful. Stay excited mate!!!

Hi Billeee, I was there last week. then headed out to Innot Hot Springs, stayed at their CV park and enjoy the mineral baths. $17.00 per night but that included the use of the baths too. Next door is an interesting old Pub and I'm still wondering why they had women's bra's hanging all around the bar..;) anyway the lamb shanks on the menu are the best I've tasted for a long time.
At the moment I'm staying at Innisfail River CV park for a few days.
