Unfortunately they are not anymore. It seems everyone is on this earth for themselves. The thoughts and considerations for other people is gone. People pushing shopping trolleys into your ankles at the shopping centre. Letting doors close in front of the other person. Terrible road manners, causing road rage.
All these thing start with selfishness, the most unpleasant character of people.
In some of the places I frequent I see the sloths who play computer games all day, smoking and drinking, or gambling, who clearly don't teach their children manners and how to treat other people.
Do unto others ....... etc.
