James Sharpe Park near Canungra/Beaudesert Qld.

I am on my own for a few days and am camping at James Sharpe Park Camps6 #703 and wow the sun was shining today. This is a very pretty camp ground with two levels  with the river running between, Camps6 will give the details but there are excellent ablution blocks with running water available. I have booked in for two nights for $6 per person per night so it is inexpensive. During the school holidays it will be best to book in advance it is a good place for children. Also very close to the township of Canungra where there is a full range of shopping and petrol available.

Was invited across to the caretaker's caravan last night for pumpkin soup and a chat with other campers, had plenty to talk about when the conversation turned to travelling.    John

And again John, wonderful pics to share with us all on your travels. This looks like an amazing place, the fact that you are seeing sun is enough for me. Keep safe and travelling.

Looking forward to meeting up with you two as well, John. Think there is a free camp at Woodenbong, near the border - haven't been, but someone said it was good.
