sheila that includes you he could get dumped if whoever took him gets tired of him he would be around your area now or soon if they travel fast Its Mareeba rodeo this weekend too so if they went up there he might be bothersome if theyarent used to dogs so anyone in Mareeba please keep a look out. Any news AJ? have you checked some of the pound websites or RSPCA? I've had a look at Mareeba, Innisfail animal refuge websites but nothing sorry.. small black & white JR in mareeba but short legs and not the floppy ear.. will keep looking
No news have done all the sites constantly, hes been taken and if you are at the rodeo you will more likely see him with people, if he gets to a pound have that covered, have covered all the road kill folk also thanks for caring cheers aj
Have also coverered the vets from here to cardwell and the police to silkwood have put him on the aus wide rspca went on thurs to innisfail and gave leaflets to any nomads going south or west i cannot do any more but hope that a nomad spots him or that whoever took him lets him go
Thank you all so much!!! He appeared after 7 days so howevers car he was in has probably dumped him at their next stop
He was smaller than a cat 4kilos less than half his usual weight -spent the last 24hrs treating him and taking him to the vet etc. While he was away I kept myself sane by girlfiend shopping, so tomorrw he and I are going bush for a couple of days and thenpicking up his new girlfriend, both desexed of course, shes a rescue dog it will prove very interesting
So happy william found his way home, great news.. now we just need a photo of william and the new girlfriend what did you name her? enjoy your weekend away.
That is fantastic news to hear your little mate made it home. Not often do we hear of such a successful outcome. That is wonderful. Hope he loves his little girlfriend.
aj and William and his new friend Allie should be just about home by now. They left here this morning after a short visit on the way through. William is improving every day.
