Pit Stop Awning

Hi All,  I have just bought a "pitstop car awning". I have a Starwagon and while looking through the junk mail came across this. It looks like a small tent that goes on the back of 4wd with suction hooks. I will try it on my side door.

Not sure that it will last a long time but if it fits and works as well as I hope, it may be worth having a similar one made.

If it works REALLY well I might buy another????  confuse

I like the fact is has suction to attach. What place was it from Colls. I do get a bit of junk mail but haven't seen that one.

Oh, you are talking about Rays Outdoors. Now bought out by BCF so if there is no Rays in your neck of the woods they might have one at BCF.
Ray is a personal friend of mine. Lovely guy.

Would love to see a picture of one. I would love an awning but they are quite heavy, looking for something simple and easy.

Most of the Rays Outdoors are in Vic. He did branch out before selling. A few in SA and a few in Qld. Not sure about NSW.

I havent had a chance to put the awning up yet so when I do I'll let you know. If I get clever enough I will post a photo.

Thanks so much Colls, I don't like to put you to the trouble. I googled and saw a picture on Rays website, link below.

That looks quiet good. I just need something to keep the rain out when the door is open and provide some shade. They look light to carry. I was in BCF yesterday for a look around. I think I walked straight past one.
