Burren Junction

I have heard that the baths at Burren Junction are in disrepair.  Does anyone know anything about this or is it just a nasty rumour?

It is definitely a very nasty rumour....unless it has fallen apart in the last few weeks....which I doubt.

Just Googled it.  It's between Narrabri and Walgett, NSW.  There was a Post about it here, in 2011, from lilly31.  The Hot Baths look great.

Sorry, that didn't work.  Better if you just Google it.

It'll be busy at this time of year Meander......might only be able to get a spot out the front.....but it is all good just the same.  You'll love it and it is campfire friendly too....BYO wood.

We had an over night there last September, nice spot, baths were a little slimmy but still good to get in on a cold late Arvo, when we were there, three "Hoons" 2 guys & a girl turned up, got in the baths & thought that they might have sex with us watching on ! Ha! they really think thats COOL, so we {4 of us} took our cloths off & went for a dip, they soon buggered of. Those Gen "Y" think they are the only ones to have thought of that.

Haven't even thought about the next stop....might be Lightning Ridge.

It will be where-ever I find my-self at the time.

I will take 3 months to do QLD, NT, SA then back home.

And three months will fly past! We thought we'd be away for a month and we've already been gone 8 1/2 weeks - and not really worried about getting home!
