Perhaps you should put this in recommendations Dawa and maybe name the site. Each different Camps book number you will find the sites are numbered differrently. Have no idea where you are talkig about as I have Camps 5. Sounds a nice spot where ever it is.
No Dawa - keep reporting, just let us know what the site is called as well as the number and Camps Book no. (The numbers change in each edition - but at least we'll know where to look). We all want to know what the sites are like.

Now there you go dawa. In HW's Camps book 5 it is 498 but because you said it was Canowindra Rest Area I was able to find it in Camps 6 even though it was 500! But I've found you also need to state which state as if I thought it was Qld I would find 498 is not listed. (500 is Clancys Campground). Anyway, now I'll tick 500 in NSW as 'nice spot'. Thanks.

Nothing is simple, even reading a map. If you can title the posting in recommendations and then add the details of the location, the state and the Camps book number, it would be very helpful for everyone, unless you want to keep it a secret.
