Hi,

I am of the opinion that a decent WDH,Weight distribution hitch is well worth the outlay. It can help the towed vehicle track and tow better according to pretty much everyone I have talked to.

I flat tow a Suzuki Grand Vitara behind my RV and use a WDH.I have a camera set on the Suzuki and it tows straight and true.

I would reccomend anyone to go that way.

Robkim
I have sent you a PM
Ford do not recommend a WDH for the PX ranger and the ford towbar is not big enough to accept a H/R tongue.
not sure about not needing a WDH as we have not towed the van yet

H M WDH will fit the ranger tow bar if you cut a small piece of the leading edge of the hitch you can then engage the last hole ,100s of them done like that
