RE: Solar Panels, roof or floor?

Not possible Wombat.   Where I am is nearly 200 K's north of Rockhampton, in off the Highway.   The nearest place to do anything like that is Rockhampton, and I'm going there next week anyway.

Cheers,

Sheba.

the problem with Irfanview is that it takes over all of your graphics on your pooter, ALL of the graphic icon's on your system will be linked to Irfanview, not a real bad problem but I did not like it, BUT it is a good program and does what it is supposed to do, and has been around for years, programs like this do not last if they do not live up to their promise and this one must have something going for it simply based on the time it has been around, as JR said, give it a try and see if you are able to download Irfanview, if it works ok then use it.

For those who wish to overcome this problem...

select the relevant file

right click on "Open with"

click on "choose program"

check "Always use the selected program to open this type of file"

click on the desired program.

Note this is for Windows XP, may differ slightly for other versions.

Hi Sheba, seems to me that something screwy is going on with your download manager or whatever program you use to download stuff. Do you use a dedicated utility for downloading or do you just do a right-click and save-as from inside your web browser? I assume you probably already know that it's a good idea to do a windows update from time to time to keep stuff running smoothly.

As for the image resize thing - If you do a google for "freeware image resize" you'll find heaps of 100% free and simple programs out there.

eg:

edit: Sorry, didn't realize this was an old topic and can't see a way to delete my post, just edit it.
