I know this is short notice but for family history buffs ancestry has opened up their military records for free until Sunday night. well worth a browse.

I have never paid any fees but have a login with ancestry.

More instructions Open link to ancestry Open free access military records Type in details of person. Search Click on one of the results You then get a box come up to register for a free account. Then you can browse.
