That tops the questions about manbag etiquette I was going to ask: - should the manbag be always carried like one's infant to the front to display the Big Name Brand; and - what to do before departing for the powder room. Is it correct etiquette to ask one's lady friend to hold one's bag?
If you have a lady friend I guess it would be appropriate, however, would you be prepared to hold her cute pink handbag while she attended the powder room? If you don't have a lady friend to hold your man-bag you'll just have to go all by yourself, with bag in hand. That's what the girls do. Just make sure you hold on tight, or place it securely in the cubicle away from the bottom of the door or wall. There's usually a hook behind the door.

I carry my gear in my pockets. Have the Gut to hold the pants up.
Picking the shorts off the ground does cause some anguish some times LOL
When in the bush I find the only things I carry is my camera (often two), pocket knife (no man should be without one) a torch and the keys to the bus.
My kids bought me a man bag and I forgot to take it with me. HAHA.
I tow my man bag as the trailer is my shed and all I need is in there.
I think all us men should stay single and bring our kids up the same way (only joking girls) Some are meant for relationships and some of us are better on our own.
