If you type "Vehicle Shades" in the search box, you'll find one type, but there is another I haven't found yet.   I know it's here somewhere, 'cause I posted that one too.  [Still looking.]

Cheers,

Sheba.

Don't have time at the moment to look any more, but here is 1 Link.  Not the one I'm looking for though.

I remember the one you posted on here Sheba. I have it on my wishlist for when I get one. Sorry can't remember the thread either but wasn't it from BCF?

That's the one I've told dawa how to find  with the search box Marj., but I was sure there was another one as well.   Wil try and find it again in off-peak time tomorrow.

Cheers,

Sheba.

I am now in Deniliquin.

Stopped 'talking' about the adventure and have started.

I think Echuca is the nearest from here.

If you're still looking for that awning, check out the site for Indigo Campers. They don't have a shop outlet, just online information, and their prices are good. See if they have something to suit your needs.
I have an awning on the side of my "truck" for camping. I can add walls if I like, but prefer not to.

So have I CG. All done.
I think the one that was talked about last year was under 100.00, for the back door of van. Don't remember one being 680.00, that a help of a price.

Don't even think about paying that much! The largest awning for my tug was about $200, and then a nice neighbour helped me put it on the roof racks.
Keep shopping around. Even Fiamma top of the range isn't that dear.

I have a rear door van,see Happywanderers avitar (pic) thats my van at the rear of her van.I had a full awning /annexe made by a local canvas manufacturer. All you need for the awning is a rope track (you can fit this yourself) an go to a canvas place and have a awning made with a rope sewn in to the canvas and attatch to the rope rail.

Camper vans vary. They have a tailgate of some configuration. Either the 2 "barn doors" or the lift up type which will affect what is attached to form an awning.
Which tpe are we looking at here?

This one came with Lulu when I bought her, now b-i-l has modified it to attach to the van, instead of me having to use ropes and pegs.

first post so be kind, just before the recent caravan & Camping show here in Melb. I saw an add somewhere? about the show and the pic showed the rear of a 4wd of some sort? with a great looking tent hanging off the rear tailgate, it was almost what I need (except I have barn doors), any way I went to the show and couldn't find it. I think the add suggested that it was a new product on the market, it looked like it could be easily adapted to barn doors by running 2 tubes across the doors thru the loops in the tent.

question; am I going senile?

did any one see the add and remember who the company was?

did any one see it at the show?

thanks
