I have been there ,many years ago, and thought it was great place where we got some big redclaw crays and a few big sooty grunter fish. Beware - its bloody cold in winter!(the time I was there).I went up from Tully on the old road, which I don,t think is still open in a leyland moke!A 4wd would have been better. I hope this helps you. Bill
