Back at Greens for the night and loving it. Have just had a most excellent evening with Nu One and Shady n Me at Greens Lake. A magnificent star filled evening around an excellent fire. Thank you Michael and Norma for the company. Off tomorrow but am very tempted to linger longer when I return from SA.
Will be great to see you again Marj . The festival has been just wonderful. The best free festival on the east coast I reckon. The weather has been a bit warm but this morning is just beautiful. A lovely breeze, cooked breakfast, read for the past few hours and a day of laughter, music and dancing to follow. I will need that few days r &r when I get back to Greens. I wonder if Nu One has a drill with him hidden in his trailer of tricks???? Had a mishap with a window catch Michael... Well back to it I guess. Tess
Sounds like I'd better get to Greens - seems like some of you are always there. Expect me sometime in June even though the weather propably won't be so crash hot.

Sorry Rocket just saw this. It was the Frances Folk Gathering in Frances near Naracorte. Camped around the sports oval for 5 days for $28 for a girlfriend and myself. Great music, very relaxed. Worth a visit. Tess
Sounds great, but didn't know it was on. Some of these events must be secret societies. I never hear about them until they're over. I reckon HW should get commission for the tourism body in her region for promoting Greens Lake. It's a very popular destination and a beaut place to stop and squat for a while. And it's FREE - for now.

I always call the booking office before I go up, If she can't help me she puts me onto the Manager. He is quite helpful too. Don't know what we are going to do when Michael and Norma move on though. I feel sure HW is on commission. Perhaps she is moving north to help out their tourist industry too?? We will miss her I know that.
I would be a rich woman wouldn't I? if I had been charging at the gate. The booking office and manager are heading north for the winter with me. Going to be quiet at Greens after the first week in April. They are away for a few days also this week, all heading back there Wed or Thurs.
