Well after the Storms that did a heap of damage around Perth, the Sun has finally appeared again, but cold as it wants to get, the temperature here was only 4.5C this morning,  had some brekkie and back to the sack, dreaming of a nice warm morning, sitting on a beach front somewhere way North of here !!! crycrycry

P.S.  this post was put up yesterday,  this morning (Wed) we awoke to 1.5C although the sun is out there isn't a lot of warmth in it, did I saw how cold it is,  "Bleeding Freezing"  disbeliefdisbeliefdisbelief

WA weather: More rain, hail on the way ........

There's no end in sight to the wet weather for WA with more cold fronts expected to bring heavy rain and possible hail over the next few days.

A front dumped 42.2 millimetres of rain on Perth yesterday and overnight, with more rain and strong winds on the way.

"We're expecting another [cold front] to come through on Saturday and another one on Sunday."

Perth will see a top of 14 degrees today, increasing to 16 degrees on Thursday and 19 degrees on Friday.

WA's drought-stressed Wheatbelt also saw some rain relief, with Cunderdin getting 25.8 millimetres and Southern Cross 8.2 millimetres overnight.

There are marine gale warnings in place for the Geraldton, Esperance and Eucla coasts today, while the metro, Gascoyne, Bunbury and Albany coasts are subject to strong wind warnings.

Main Roads have advised drivers to switch on headlights, ensure a safe braking distance and to allow extra time as conditions become slippery amid the deluge.

Take care out there People !!

Darwin 13 August

34 but a bit on the humid side at night time

It looks like I was wrong about B.O.M. playing up a bit and not reporting the weather

smile Perhaps I should remember to only believe 10% of what I read, 20% of what I hear, and only 50% of what I see, in regards to the weather smile

I think you are being to generous towards BOM Tony,  here in Perth they have been predicting Dooms Day, with Thunder Storms strong winds and heaps of rain,  what have we got at present..... Sun shining with large patches of Blue sky !!!!  confuseconfuseconfuse

One day they just might get it right, but who's going to believe them even then ?????   nonono

In the Darling Range tonight right now its 6.52pm and raining heavily, I am enjoying listening to the rain falling on the tin roof while watching the flames flickering dance in the mexican cheminea. Such a perfect night it is. The rain God is doing its thing and I am happy.....With a huge smile Kisha.

We are in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, in England. Henry VIII lived here during the black plague. It is overcast, threatening rain, and fairly cold. We are bracing for a couple of months of English winter before we head home to Victoria. The winters here are bloody freezing. It gets dark about three in the afternoon, which is very weird. You never see a cloudless sky. The summers are mild and wet.

things we love, the changing colours of the trees season to season. Winter nights by the fire in old pubs with low ceilings. Bluebells in the woods at springtime.

stay cool

4.00pm 11/10/17. Finally after threats of rain it's started. It can rain all night now as it will help the garden and water tanks where I am house sitting near Bacchus Marsh, just east of Ballarat VIC. The predicted storms can stay away though.
