Finally in Tassie

Well I arrived Monday morning in Tassie and travelled down to Doleraine where I am currently until tomorrow when I head to Launceston. So far I have found the people in this place to be so friendly and helpful. My motorhome water pump has decided to not work, so with no water pressure I have to travel to Launceston tomorrow to have it looked at. I'm here for 4-6 weeks so if any GN's are down here, hope to catch up on the road somewhere :) Safe travels to you all Brett

We are moving on from Stanley in the morning Brett.  Have booked into Snug van park for a week, maybe longer.  Hope to see you somewhere.

Have a great trip down there Brett, gorgeous island. Only ever been there once for a couple of weeks, wasn't anywhere near long enough. But won the trip in a Cottees Jam competition and thats all the time they would give me. That was about 10 years ago.

Enjoy, Brett. make sure you allow time for Straun (I think that's how you spell it). I was there for a week but could easy spend a month or two on that side of Tassie. Sarah Island is great too. Check out the Gordon River cruise and Wilderness Railway. Great stuff.

Thanks guys, I have enjoyed my first 2 days and the west coast will be in a few weeks. It is really a lovely place and loving the weather :)

I was leaving earlier Jules but couldn't get all my stuff organized sooner. Now I am homeless and on the road full time, I wanted to get everything done before I left.

I love Tassie - been there four times - and haven't seen nearly enough!! Can't wait to get there again and spend more time seeing the beautiful sights.

Good stuff Brett, I love Tassie. Maybe u were one of the motor homes I saw camped down near the pier the other night when u I went down to cool off by the water. Thee was a cruise ship in too. I saw a number camped waiting to board the next morning. So envious, there is so much to see down there, enjoy. Tess
