I didn't realise you'd gone either, but it's great to see you're back (and your front). It is a spectacular country and the people are great too. Thermal springs and all that food.

You are correct Chris it is spectacular country and to be quite honest I could have spent several more months there just soaking up the scenery and countryside, a month was not really anywhere near long enough to do and see all. What we did see was great and I wouldn't have missed it for all the tea in China. Most people reckon my back looks better than my front.
Spent some time in the hot baths and must admit my aching back felt much better after the soak.
Went to Rotarua to see the Geysers but it was pouring with rain and where the poncho ended the wet really started, from my hips down to my feet including my shoes were sopping wet. Still had a good time though.
NZ has a great coffee culture, there are coffee shops everywhere and I noticed that most places were fully licensed to serve alcohol, can even buy beer and wines in the supermarket when shopping for food.

Thanks Wombat I must admit it is good to be back, though I could have spent another couple of months in NZ just looking around. Kiwi - as is a great bloke and his wife is lovely, if all Kiwi's were as nice as that couple then NZ would be well ahead of the rest.
