Blow the dog off his chain

We have been at Meredith Park, Lake Colac for4 days and it has been very windy. Enough to blow the dog off his chain. Not much point in leaving it seems it's windy everywhere. Winds of up to 42 kph.  Hope it calms down soon but the forecasts are predicting wind for a few days yet. We want to go down the Gt Ocean Road.     evileyedisbelief

No Ma, we are at Colac, about 100 Km nth of the Great Ocean Rd Victoria. It's quite cold here though due to the wind. I suppose its coming off Tasmania and further south.

 Gday...

It is my intention to be at Meredith Park, Lake Colac on Thursday night this week for a few days. Then I am probably going to head down to Joanna Beach on the GOR after that.

How many people camped at Meredith Park?  My fear is that it is/will be crowded.

Cheers

John

HI Rockylizard, no it isn't crowded here at Meredith. Isn't that funny, you have the same plan as us. We would have been at Johanna now but the forecasts are for rain and wind, so thought we would wait here for a few days. We could still be here when you arrive, depends on the weather. We are in a Viscount van and Holden Rodeo ute, have a dog kennel out front of our park. Just along from the toilet block.
