I know that vinegar is good for a number of things but I doubt very much that vinegar would break down the solid waste in the toilet.

While on the subject, it was covered earlier. I tried to buy Coles brand Napisan. All they have is a booster, is this the right stuff.
You cant get Home brand anymore.

I use what Hagar says .. and it also does for a laundry detergent that if applied in a mild solution, doesn't need a heavy rinse .. works for me!

The Coles home brand has been repackaged, it is now called Coles ULTRA booster plus and is still the same price $2.49

Look for the active ingredient of 34% Sodium Percarbonate when looking for the WW or Coles Generic Brand Nappy Treatment/Soakers.

I know the 3kg Woolies one has been rebadged too....still the same container though

Sue and I got fed up with the port-a-loo scene, looking for the right additives and dump points. Also the cassette got quite heavy for us. so we saved and brought a "Incinolet" electric toilet. Ok, we have to use our generator for an hour (7.5amp) but all that's left is ash that's emptied into the garbage every week. We don't find it smells that bad, just a burning smell for a short while whilst it works and it's fitted with a catalytic converter that cuts the smell. With the paper insert you can use it for #1 and #2's. It suits us.

Sounds interesting. How heavy is it in comparison to the cassette type? Is there a pic?
