welcome to the forum. This is a very friendly place and the best place to come for advice. You might want to try putting some key words in the search option at the top of the page. That way you can locate previous threads on specific topics.
Just recently there have been a few threads from nomads planning to sell up and hit the road.

You should get heaps of advise from this site but you may get more responses if you post on the general forum, also as it will be your wife & yourself traveling then the solo forum again may not be the best choice, but, whatever forum you decide to post on, you're most welcome here.
We never sold our house but instead we rented ours out & went on a 2 year trip around Australia which we just finished.
