Burnt finger tips ?

How many times have you burnt your finger tips , on the billy, iron, fire tools, pots & pans, etc etc ??????????????

Here is a cure, when you have burnt the finger tip do this as quick as possible.

Place the burning finger against you ear lobe supported by the thumb behind the ear lobe & hold firm untill the finger feels comfortable. No more burning. It does not burn the ear either.LOL.

I can hear you all laughing , this is not a joke. I have used this method for 38 yrs & sucessfull every time. This method was told to me by my first boss in the motor trade & there are many burns around hot motors.

My worst burn was on a red hot peice of steel, the finger went white instantly so applied the system for about 20 mins untill feeling ok, the skin didn;t even blister or peel.

The theroy is that there is a very high blood flow in that part of the ear & it disperses the heat throughout the body.

I think the safest remedy, where possible is to properly cool the burnt area, either with cold water or better still, ice.  By cooling the burn it stops the burn penetrating to greater depth.

Having said that, this guy doesn't seem to have a problem.  He has become famous for his unique "talent".

Cheers Neil
