caravan draw fridge.

Can anyone help us please, we are thinking of putting one of these 12volt draw fridges in our van.

We are wondering if any one has done this, and how its working.

Sorry guys should have given a bit more info.

Its proper name is.

WAECO 30 LITRE COOLMATIC DRAWER FRIDRE.

We are hoping to install it in our drawer under the lounge Ben has all the measurements right, so we are wondering if anyone else has done this.

Thank you

Hi Guys I have a friend who installed one in his Landcruiser with good results, providing you don't expect it to cool stuff quickly.

I have the Waeco back seat unit that works like a divider between the back two seat and as an armrest. Both have the same innards.

I find if I put soft drinks straight from the fridge with one of those plastic Ice packs it works really well and keeps stuff nice and cold.

It does take a while to cool it down from ambient temp though. A lot of high end cars, Mercedes for one and some of the European trucks now come with the Waeco drawer fridges.

I am happy with mine and so is my mate with his drawer version. I think it's a good way to go.
