I got a job skippering a barge up in the Torres straits, and when I got back the local GP say that I have to have a blood test.So after about 3 weeks I go back to see what the results were. "your positive!" says the doctor" To what"? says I. "Everthing except AIDS, gonerea, and syphless"say the quack." "you have UTDs"" whats the hell is that ?"says I. The doc says I have antibodies to 3 forms of malaria, Ross river virus, dengue,And a host of other Unidentied tropical diseases. What do I do? nothing says the quack . We want more blood to do more tests. In the end it just proved that I have been biten by every insect in creation.I think the doctor was a vampire. Bill
That sounds like a good thing to have Bill. Next thing they'll want to make you a guinea pig to find out why, and how they can duplicate it and make a vaccine.
I was told , recently , that old fishermen never die, they only smell that way...........I have a mild form of skin cancer , and high blood presure, but otherwise my health is not too bad. Thanks for the concern. Bill
Bill12. Giving blood t'other day,an extra question was tagged on the bottom of the sheet about whether travel to PNG or Torres Strait had occurred. So these Unidentified Tropicals must be increasing - surely not all because of you Bill eh??!! I must admit I did also think like Gerty first off that it had something to do with Urinary/uterus/Tracking Devices or something similar!!
