Wotstha Weather In Your Neck of the Woods?

Esperance. WA 1435 Hrs

We have a gentle sea breeze blowing, gusting to a whisker below 60KPH. Fine and clear though.

The bay is rather frothy. I am glad my sailing days are over. They reckon spray in the face is the sailors champagne.

Whoever said that should be flang overboard with a heavy anchor tied to his feet.

Take it easy.

I am getting the Teardrop sorted for another short break in run. With this wind blowing we will be able to leave the Getz behind and get ourselves blown inland with the Teardrop only.

I can see the Noisy Scrub Bird and myself sitting on the A Frame steering the Jockey wheel with our feet. Way to go!

Leather helmet and goggles worn to satisfy OH&S of course!

Take it easy.

Canberra 18.30 Eastern Daylight-saving time. 15 degrees, light clouds, Easterly breeze about 25kph.
Glad to have a nice dry day after heavy rain and storms over the past few days.

Here in downtown Baradine, Nth Western NSW, it's beautiful one day, raining the next. Actually its not too bad, nice breeze on the sunny days. I think we are forecast for more rain.

Cheers

 Hi RVT,

I noticed a lot more flies around in my recent trip down south (mostly inland) but worse where you are, I think it is because you are on a cattle property, they always attract a lot of flies etc.  Previous time I was there I picked up a couple of ticks as well.......

Esperance WA 0545Hrs

Fine cool morning. Light brz out of the NE. 28 degrees forecast.

Around to the SE later on and quite strong again I think.

No flies here Vic. That sea brz blows them inland where they belong. We do let them have a quick look around in the morning though.

The bitey March flies are starting to make their presence known.

Up to Kalgoorlie for Christmas, once you pass Norseman you get issued with 27 flies which are yours for the duration of your stay in the area. You hand them back again heading south on the completion of your visit.

I think that's how it works anyway.

Take it easy.

Esperance sounds good with the breeze, had a few of those "cling on" flies on my recent trip inland, they cling onto the back of you shirt waiting for you to take them inside for a meal, very friendly types.

Hate those March flies (called Marsh flies by some) boy can they bite.  Last year down at Demark, was sitting under a patio with a group of people and we were given fly swatters to fend the rotters away/kill etc.

20 and sunny in Perth at the moment (7.42AM).....

Joe,

I lived in Darwin many years ago, pre 1970, not too much around in the way of airconditioning back then.

Cars had 2/60 aircons at best. Open 2 windows and do 60!

Overhead fans were the message elsewhere.

I am not to sure I could handle a "Wet" these days.

Take it easy.

Vic,

Gotta be careful with the Red these days. I reckon I would spill more than I drink in more recent times.

Shaping up for a top day here today. Depends on the stegth of the afternoon sea breeze as to how it finally pans out. That too whatever a stegth is. Try strength, sounds better.

I sometimes think I have a missing finger when it comes to typing. Nope all there, all 13 of them.

Both dawgs are steaming in the sun as dawgs are prone to do. The NSB is down town waving the Visa card around.

All is normal on the home front.

Take it easy.

Another windy day forecast. Bit of north in it right now but it will go around to the south east after lunch.
Warm though, 29 degrees, but the "sea brz" will spoil it.
Plenty to do where it wont affect me at all.
T/storms forecast for tomorrow.

Take it easy.

Weird weather in SE Qld the past few days, and ongoing by the look of the BOM.

Much cooler than normal, enough to put my 5 year old great nephew into hospital with Asthma, poor little man.

Today is 27, but we've had as low as 24. A week or so ago it was 30 and above!

Adelade - warm mid 20's daytime.
Cold down to 9 at night between daylight.
Some breeze - strong at Tailem Bend yesterday, but balmy in Adelaide.
What happened to summer?
