troopy, not sure if you are aware but the rock and train track shots both have a spot showing, maybe a mark on your lens.

yep wommy, i'm aware.. but it's a spot on the sensor (digital SLR) I might even get around to trying to clean it one day to.. also, been having focus problems of late too, so maybe better to change the camera anyway. Also, did you notice the perspective of the traintracks shot? a couple who happened along while i was taking it seemed rather alarmed.. And a train did come along about 10 mins later.

Laying on the railway tracks could be a tad hazardous....but it amazing what we'll do to get that different angle.

don't touch the sensor, you can use a blower brush.

if you are getting a new camrera have a look at the Nikon D3 biggrinbiggrin

 yes wommy, i've researched cleaning digicam sensors a bit.. and as far as looking at the nikon D3, look at my bank balance first.. haha

 Than's funny, whenever I suggest to Mrs W that I need a D3 she tends to say, "do you really need it" her way of saying "no you don't need it"

Saw one last week for just over $7,000.00 boy was I tempted. biggrinbiggrin
