I saw those Herbie, wish now I had got one after reading about your purchase. Will keep an eye out when I go into Bundy next.

I bought one too. It also has a groove for a pen/pencil and a drink holder. Mine cost $10 in Taree. The same place had hyperallergenic pillows on spesh for $10 each. I bought two. They're vacuum packed and puff up as soon as you open the bag. RRP $30 each.
for peace of mind: put a hook inside one of your kitchen door cupboards to hang your car keys and caravan keys on. It needs to be "out of sight". of those light fingered people who could come into your van. cos they go on holiday too.
Now I remember where I saw them Sheba, Sams Warehouse in Bundy. If I get in there next week will go get one.
CC's and The Warehouse are one and the same these days, so I knew some-one would pick up on it. I like the Zebra print one myself, but don't need one yet.
Cheers,
Sheba.

Check the top surface for slip when you buy those, we had a couple, thought they'd be good for all sorts of things. But the surface was so slippery everything slid about, not good for drinks or plates of dinner!! Tried non-slip rubber mats on them, didnt really like that either, so left them in a caravan park laundry with a "Free" sign on them. They were gone in minutes, and I wondered what the new owners would do with their sliding plates/books etc.
Yes, thats how I clicked when you said CC. It is Sams Warehouse now. All The Warehouse outlets were bought out by the others when they weren't making money for their parent company The Warehouse in NZ.

My lap table isn't slippery ; if any thing is has a very flat non slip surface .

Something like "Home art or home wares" Herbie. And yep, they also had the pillows. Lots of sale prices on things at the mo.
Fridge slide, measured and cut myself and then had them welded,a secret I copied the Engle one a little different.the wire running into the fridge is a temparture gauge, sends the setting back to the monitor on the dash
Decided I could manage sleeping in a single bed, as this would create extra floor space in my 12ft caravan, I found that in pushing the bed back, I exposed part of the external door under the bed. My grandson and I had only fitted the door last month. The first photo shows the area on the opposit side of the caravan, imagine the door here. I've made the single bed into a comfortable lounge area where I can stretch out and watch telly and my bed will be at the table end of the van. I could never get comfy in those seats and table so now its my bed.
. Now the area is contained for entry from outside and I have a little shelf beside my lounge. Some plastic edging and a bit with a lick of varnish should tidy it up. Above this there'll be a drop down table in the next few days. Feeling good about being a handy man, Helen
