Morning all. Another newbie question. I connected water (to park tap). When i connected it my tanks were nearly empty, now they r full. Is it normal that the tanks fill when connected to mains water.
No, it's not normal. Between the pump and the and the HWS, taps etc there should be a Non return/stop/oneway valve. Or the one that's fitted need replacing.
The valve allows water to be pumped fron the tank, but stops any reverse flow so that you don't contaminate good tank water with whatever is being supplied from the mains, bore etc...

Hi Steve and Maria From the picture it looks like you have a Jayco and if it's anything like mine it will have two water connection points the top one is for mains pressure water and the one under it is for filling your water tanks another thing to ensure is that you replace the anode in the hot water tank at regular intervals, enjoy your travels.
