HI eveyone, I guess this should be in general forum, but it also falls under health and well being......and right this very minute I feel really really WELL, in......
MALAYSIA! or Kuala Lumpur to be correct. Yep, I have managed to stay well enough to get myself back to asia for 16days. Going to spend time between KL and Singapore doing all the things that 4 previous trips didnt cover.
I simply love the tropics, the people and what is left of the jungle etc. We take so much for granted in Australia and we whinge just a little bit sometimes
over things we shouldnt. This is really brought home here in Malaysia; the continued economic downturn has hurt a lot of people who lack the support and infrastructure we take for granted. Mind you I'm doing my bit to help!
I hope to post the occassional update, but in the meanwhile for me , travel is definately......the best medicine,
hey - ozi2 - was only talking about you the other day, wondering how you were, hadn't heard from you for a while. Glad to hear you are well and travelling - do the things you want to do - Keep on keeping on - and stay well!!!!

Hi Pam, Jules and Ma, (from Singapore) it's absolutely so good for the soul to be on the move and seeing great places filled with so many people of the world. I have to say that the feel good endorphins are working and while I have the capacity it will be used to full effect. I have even put on weight!
One mistake I made was to have a foot massage in Kuala Lumpur.....it was like floating on air for a short while after, however with the blood disorder it caused bruising of the heel and calf........combined with lots of walking it became a painful couple of days
Only 2 more days in S/pore ( what a great place) and then 9 days in Malaysia to finish. I hope you are all fit, well and out there in our great country,
I had heard that about having massages if you have any sort of blood issue - I think it is because the massage brings blood to the area being massaged - like a healing - the massage is moving blood around, and the blood then rushes to heal the spot, once you stop the work - my understanding of how it works anyway.
Enjoy !!

I know you have to be very careful if you have reflexology, which is a form of massage.
My late husband was told by someone that it was really good for what ails you BUT what they neglected to tell him was that they concentrate on certain parts of the body that have a connection to certain organs (or that's my understanding) and unfortunately for him it reactivated his cancer. That's what the oncologist said anyway, so people, please be careful.
I am not in any way saying that reflexology is bad or you shouldn't have it. I think it is a very good way to keep things on the straight and narrow provided you are in reasonable health to begin with.
Really Ma? oh dear I'm sorry that happened, there seems to be bad with every good. I always though reflexology only did good but now know better. I've always been a follower of reflexology and spout its virtues. I'll certainly put add that now be careful if you not in good health. Very sorry that happened.
ozi2, glad to hear you having a wonderful time overseas, that's next on my todo list when I finish this trip. I thought Vietnam but would be interested to hear about Malaysia.
