Clearville Beach Camp.

smileWell I really don't know that it gets much better than this. 14 kms of dirt road( not to bad , a little corrugated) off the great northern hiway  north of Karratha( site 508, camps 5).Lots of areas. $45 per week, basic but 50 metres from the beach and sheltered behind  some she oaks from the easterlies that have been plagueing me for the last few days. Camp all set, corned silverside and appropiate vegies cooking in the dreampot, and still time for an ale(or maybe 2) and its still isn't 4.00pm

I agree with you Jo. Will be here for a week at least, then a dash thru to Marble Bar, about 4 days at at camp 607 and then on to Cape Kerauden for a few days before heading onto Broome

Just keeps on getting better, Finished dinner which tonight started with about 2 dozen freshly shucked oysters off the rocks 200 metres from my camp followed by garlic pork strips with mash potatoes, peas and garden grown tomatoes. Washed down with a glass(or 3) of classic dry white. I think I should have retired a couple of years earlier

From 1st July 2015 Cleaverville & 40 Mile Beach will be $19 per night with maximum 28 days stay!

Karratha doesn't want visitors.

Wow - will be lots of empty spots there, I reckon. It is a great spot, remember our time there.
