Troopy,

Now you're talking, I can relate to all that!

Those chilli beans in a grinder  hmmm  this sounds interesting.  tell us more....

Cruising Granny,  ha ha no, this is not a travel vehicle for me. I did have an Airstream and an Oldsmobile at one time but never thought of this combination.

The dried chilli in the coffee beans was an experiment i tried a while back. The thing is not to put too much in (hence only part of a dried chilli to a double handfull of beans). If you put too much in, the coffee being hot temperature seems to magnify the heat of the chilli too much and overpowers the flavour of the coffee. I once put 3 Habeneros in a double batch of homebrew too. They were chopped into a couple of pieces each and left in during fermentation. The result was unusual to say the least. If you can imagine a Pale Ale with the slight chilli flavour and only just a hint of a twinge of heat to enhance the hoppy flavour. Chilli works well in chocolate too, and there was someone producing it commercially for a while. It was called "Kick Start" from memory.

La Bella coffee have just released a liquid instant coffee 1 ltr. bottle $14.95 and it tastes exactly like brewed coffee and does not go bitter.

Goinsoon,

That's news..

Hey Delux just released a 3 in 1 paint that looks just like a primer and single coat of finish ??

If you are here to talk coffee ...  please start with roasted beans and go from there.

Last week I was introduced to a Arabica coffee  pea bean ?  The ones that have not been cut in half yet.  The added flavor is the kicker I suppose. Anyone had a go?

Keep drinking the real stuff !

Well it's like this Di Bella coffee took some coffee beans and roasted them, then they experimented for over two years with different methods to turn the roasted beans into a natural coffee liquid without any freeze drying or artificial additives and ended up with a pure coffee liquid which when hot water is added tastes as good if not better than brewed coffee, it also has the added benifit of not going bitter when left standing as brewed coffee does.

forgive my ignorance, I thought this thread was about coffee

This is the interesting thing or discussion about all things coffee I suppose..

My stance is basic, organic if possible ?? green beans, freshly roasted, ground in front of you and drank before it gets cool !

Todate Merlo has been doing well for me.

The other quick ways to my way of thinking will have additives and preservitives. remember the coffee in a tube...  yuck
