Your van is looking so good Vic, Coming along nicely.
Can you tell me about the awning, brand, type, size and even price if you want to. Thats what I will be looking for next. I have been looking at the Ironman 4x4 but open to other suggestions.
Thanks HW, it is a Fiamma F45S, 3 metres, cost about $1,200-$1,400. Not sure about fitting etc as mine was done on the conversion. You can buy Fiamma walls and end bits for them too if you want, but to be honest I have had a couple of annexes in the past and never used them, good if you are going to be in one spot for a long time without moving the vehicle you probably won't use the annexe sides.
The legs can be put out in the "carport" mode too (legs vertical and pegged). I will use support ropes and springs on the ends of mine the same as you see others using on their caravan annexes etc, available from most camping stores etc. Mine in the pic is not fully extended, they can come out further than that, the legs are adjustable for length etc.
Cruising Granny is looking into awnings at the moment I think, so would be full bottle at the moment.
Google Fiamma Victoria and that should bring up some sellers or fitters in your area. Most caravan repair places will fit them and give you a price for supply and fit. Ask for the new model though, I don't think mine is listed on the website yet.

Actually I called around there at 4pm this arvo. She was at the back of the workshop. Sam said they had just finished taking the motor out and would be shipped to his man tomorrow. I went around to ask him to check the clutch as it will be the same age as the motor and could need replacing too. He said he intended doing that and ringing me once they had checked everything out. As he said its easier to replace that at the same time and cheaper too as if you do it later you have all the same labour costs all over again. She is certainly getting a good going over.
Delivery by courier to Echuca is $86.50 on top of the $965.00
So $1,051.50 total to your place. Don't forget though it will cost more to have fitted unless you find someone to do (make sure they know how though, too expensive to stuff up). Might be worth finding out how much a caravan repairer/yard charges to supply and fit too, might be easier than buying it in yourself.
