UPDATE

Well here we are at Longreach, in caravan park and enjoying a bit of luxury, so many vans up here, can't believe it. Stayed the last 2 nights camping beside Coopers Creek, was just fantastic could have stayed a lot longer, hope everyone out there is having a great time and keeping safe.smile

You too. Thanks for the update. Are the roads repaired or have you done a lot of bouncing out there?
I just love hearing about people's travels and adventures.
What do you look for when you travel? What do you see when you travel? These may not be the same things.
A girlfriend of mine gets around in a motor home, and many of her photos have her in them, in very social situations sitting on someone's knee or in party mode with champers in hand. Her travels are about meeting people in different places. These people maybe former acquaintances she's met on other travels, or people she's known who have moved to another town or state.
She does the tours and cruises usually with these people she meets.
The reasons for travel are as varied as the destinations, but it is one of the things about this lifestyle which fascinates me.

We camped beside Coopers Creek 5 years ago, a bit less water about then.

Enjoy, Pauline!

Plenty of wildlife in the creek this year, has been a great season and all the cattle look so fat, the roads have been good since we left home until we left Windorah headed to Longreach through Jundah and Stonehenge, pretty bad, but we made it and took about 15 minutes to put things back in their right places. GC just love to look at the many facets of this great country, the mind cannot concieve just how big and diverse it is, also meeting new people is a hoot.
