Walcha CP (NSW)

Early this year we stayed at the Walcha CP (south of Armidale, NSW), and recommend it as the best CP we've come across in 2 1/2 years on the road - cleaner than any, immaculately tended, quiet, walking distance to the shops, and the ablutions even have underfloor heating (sorely needed in winter!). The owners are a lovely, friendly couple, very willing to chat with their guests.

We paid $132/week (CMCA discount, but I think Seniors as well), but I think that Neil & Glenys were looking at increasing that a little to cover running costs. Even so, we'll definitely be back when we eventually get back east.

Andrea

We stayed there last year when Neil & Glenys had only been there for a week. Although they were still on the learning curve I support Andreas Comments fully. The bloke beside us even had Slim Dusty playing to welcome us.
A great little park and community.

I stayed here recently (Feb 2013) Niel & Glenys are still there and are lovely people, the Park is small but imaculate and the ammenities are 5 star

you could not expect any better.I felt so welcome that I stayed an extra night at $21 with CMCA or Pensioner disc it is worth the visit.

Steve
