thinking out loud again

any ways you all know of our plans for alice springs,

but have been thinking about the cmca  rallie is at Kalgoorlie in WA , but heard there are  no powered sites available, will have to check on our set up to see if worth going etc,,

 or just go down to albany then up to perth then maybe back across the Nullabor then upto alice ,then back down to peterbrough then to broken hill and home..

leave Maree out of it.. been kind of thinking about this today,

Im trying to convince my dad to let me do all the driving , and running of the van,so that he can just sit back and relax... thats my idea any ways.. he can do the cooking!!

whats the weather like in WA for september / october / november?

 we'll take our time........

I love traveling and I'd drive dad to any where he wants, i can drive all day,  as long as were travelling safely, thats all i want to do,. has been right from the start, ever since we got the tardis, for those that know our story....

when we were on the cruise people asked what i do, and i said im a full time carer for dad, even tho i dont get paid or not recognized by stupid centerlink, been there tried that.. how is it easy for people to defroad them ill never know, like you see on tv...

any ways.. like i said, just thinkig out loud.. not trying to drum up post counts....

thoughts guys???

I hope Im not affending any one by mentioning another site here, its just im putting my thoughts together and is part of our planning,,, etc.. not ment to worry any one..

Hi Milo,

I have sent you a pm. I believe there are unpowered sites available and there may be powered sites available at other caravan parks there, best to contact the organisers and ask them what the situation is. Perhaps with Dad on board it might be better to get a powered site if you can, see this for contacts for the Rally;

Milo, the Pics on that Link were taken in about April last year.   The Maree Road may be very different now.

Cheers,

Sheba.

The Maree Road from Lyndhurst looked ok in April, from the ground and from the air. There may be a few bumpy spots but it looked pretty good to me. Like everywhere, drive according to the conditions, and make allowances for the other bast..d's stupidity.

The spring is lovely in WA You probably wouldnt want to go any further north than Carnarvon in the spring unless you like hot weather of course.
