WONDECCLA RE-VISITED

Was I joking when I said it got a tad cool up near Herberton?  This morning (Sunday) I heard from a bloke who overheard another fella telling somebody else that he heard on good authority that it was -8 at Wondeccla at 0500hrs this morning.  I didn't argue the point as we had ice on the grass all over the showgrounds.   Had three jumpers, beenie and fleecy lined uggs on.  As the morning wore on bits could be peeled off and by midday it was a pleasant 17 degrees.

Had a visit at the markets from Honi (Headnhome) who braved the cold to say hello.  Was good to meet her and we hope to see her at other camps around the area.

Couple of photos attached of Pauline's stall, the markets main street (about 11am) and us and Honi at our van (she is the little one in the middle).

Cheers

Ian

The Wondeccla Markets are the third Sunday of each month.  On most Saturdays or Sundays there is a market somewhere on the Tablelands or North of Cairns.
