Choosing a camper

Hi all,

Just thought that it might be helpful for folk to try out driving different types of campers before purchase.

The various motor home renters have a website which for the life of me I can't locate at the moment where you can pick up a motorhome/camper and return to it's base with an allowance for fuel and a reasonable time frame allowed.eg Brisbane to Canberra.Darwin to Perth etc

With so many cheap air fares available might be a chance for some to try out a particular vehicle type to see if it suits .

Food for thought.

Cheers,

Mary

Thats a great idea and a good site Creamy. smile

We met a couple at the World War 11 Airfield free camp last year doing just that and heading to Cairns from I think, Broome from memory or the other way around.

They were having a ball, just a couple of similar age to me and jumped at the chance to have a look see.

Their van was at the departure end and they flew back to it later. wink

I think the one they drove was similar to Jon's.

Yes That's the one!

If you have any fly buys etc to get you to the pick up spot so much better but still offers a great opportunity to try various vehicles

Cheers,

Mary
