Whyalla Discovery Forshore CP

Just another update. We travelled up from Cowell to Whyalla, did not want to stay at park with jumping pillow etc so booked it at CP near the airport. BIG mistake, luckily there was no one in reception so we did a quick walk around and drove out. Ended up it the Forshore park complete with pillow, playground etc. What a lovely spot, the friendly service was great, we were asked if we intended to eat out or explore, when we said yes the lass produced a map and pointed out various places of interest, best place to shop etc. Amenities were very clean and fresh. Plenty of hot water, great laundry, driers and lines. Beautiful position right on the beach, with sites right there. Lawned and slabs, good TV and phone. Would recommend this park as same price as first one. $28 per night over long weekend as we stayed 7 nights.

My wife grew up in Whybother......er, I mean Whyalla, so we usually go up from Adelaide twice a year because of some social event.

We have stayed in the Foreshore CP (before it was upgraded) on 2 occasions, but now we prefer the Whyalla CP. No 5 star rating but it is quiet (no kids) very clean amenities and cheaper.
