GNs at Mareeba

Bumped into Jonathon at the Mareeba Markets on Saturday morning.   He is staying at the showgrounds at Mareeba for a while.  We were camped at Walkamin, just down the road towards Atherton for the long weekend.

I couldn't help but put in a plug for Collingwood and Ian looks like he swallowed a fly!

Had a great weekend though and it was good to see Jon again.

It certainly was great to catch up with you again, Pauline and Ian .. just on about 12 months since we last crossed paths ..

.. and it doesn't stop there .. the Pale Bushman (Dave) has made his presence known and  have also met his partner Jenny ..

.. last but not least, I was fortunate to meet to meet "shaker" (Phil) and his partner Anne. A more recent member to our group. Gotta laugh though .. we three went off for coffee on our bikes .. they travelled on their big 1400cc while yours-truly putted along behind them on his little 150cc scooter ..

He was lucky I didn't wear me colours ! .. heh

Jon

(Pauline .. had to add how much I hate photos .. Gee !)

We sure did Fly.  I am giving some thought to another get together but I don't think it will be till 2013.   Next years is a big one for us.

hi all it was good to catch up with jon at skybury they have fixed it up well since my last visit and it is getting a bit cold up there for riding on the bike with big wheeels and a 1600cc motor and it was hard to ride all the way there in first gear and the cheek of some riders overtaking on the inside but thanks for a great morning jon it was a beautiful day........Phil
