You mention elsewhere the Delicate Nobby campground. The caravan park at nearby Crescent Head does a good deal for pensioners that compares favourably with DN for a much nicer park, check their website http://www.4shoreholidayparks.com.au/crescent-head-holiday-park/crescent-head-home.

This is a nice park and has a bowling club (and pub) just across the road, It's a half hour drive into Kempsey if needed to do a major restock.

"Creso" and nearby South West Rocks ("SWR") would be my favourite NSW Nth Coast places. At this time of year would recommend the "Lakeside" sites rather than the "Surfside" sites as they are more protected. Many of the sites a quite spacious. There are a lot of roadworks between Karuah and Port Macquarie turn off but shouldn't be a problem, avoid at Long weekends and school holiday weekends. Pension rates may not be available during these times either. check http://australia.gov.au/topics/australian-facts-and-figures/school-term-dates

Glassies I think that C/van park you refer to is the Delecate Nobby one that Jimbo mentions elsewhere.
