Five more sleeps and we are off again,, up to Bowen, out to Mt Isa, down to Longreach, Charlieville, then Chinchilla, and finally home to the Sunny coast,,,,all in four weeks, we are excited to be back on the road, and looking forward to meeting lots of nomads out there....

Have a great time Lyn and Jeff. Sounds wonderful. I'm hoping to head back up north in July for about 5 or 6 weeks and am so jealous of you getting away so soon.
What you are planning is basically the trip we did last July/August - did just over 5,000Ks in 5 weeks. Though we headed a little further north than you - into Townsville for a week of that 5 weeks to see our daughter & son-in-law. Family 'duties' over we then had the time of our lives and decided this is the life to lead.

We have already started packing the van and car, as we are going for three months there is so much stuff "we need" that I have given up trying to fit it into the car and carefully told my Lyn, that I think we had better buy another tow vehicle to take all the stuff.
The news was received with an ever patient nod and another vehicle purchased today.
You lucky thing Lyn we are still housebound at the moment although hopefully only for another couple of weeks then we will be away but only for a month Helena.
