Shirls and I and Doggies are leaving for Mildura on the 16th May Have decided too stop overnight in Birchip Vic..Not free camping too cold this time will stay in an another park...Any Okay Caravan parks there about Fellow travellers.....Will do the trip in two days  No Rush.

I'm not surprised about  this....Sort of not in the tourist area....We are just useing it  as a rest spot with heat..Ha! ha !  I see a heap of you had a bo-peep...No comment?

Haven't been there ourselves but if it turns out OK let me know because we will be heading that way REALLY soon, like on Thursday we head off with no time frame as yet so have no idea when we will actually be in that area.

Try "snot blocks" in Ouyen at the bakery - they have won heaps of prizes - their pies are good as well.
Never stayed in Birchip, but a friend whose in-laws lived there used to call it "birds..t"!!!!!!! Me I've just been through, don't think ever stopped.

There is a caravan park in Birchip or can free camp at Chum lakes about 3k's out of town Has toilets etc showers cold etc it's the local aquatic centre and has enjoyed a rejuvevation when the lakes were refilled after the drought.Nice quiet little spot'
