Sounds good for the price. Just a word of advice be aware that any creams, gels or liquids have a shelf life and preferred storage conditions which will rapidly expire if not stored correctly

I can't speak on behalf of Cindy or anyone else for that matter but I don't have a problem with members recommending products and services on this forum, it's all part of the flow of information that is the strength of the forum.

When people come on board to promote their own products/services as a form of free advertising it's an entirely different matter

IMHO

Jim

Men's only, all in very good condition, mind you they are secondhand. lol

It's just that I need some new ones and need some money for the old ones, don't know why but Target will not take them as trade-ins.

I think I will make up my own first aid kit. I have a good sized plastic container. Will buy what I think is needed rather than a lot of stuff that will never get used.
Thanks for reminding me wombat that I need to get that done before I head off.

Yes we did that too, and I've just realised it was 4 years ago, have to have a clean-out. All those sterile dressings etc dont last long, let alone any creams etc.

I purchased mime off the local ses, they asked what I was prepared to pay and the purpose of the kit. I got mine made up for solo remote desert travel. My doctoer is also a member of my local ses so what a good understanding of my needs. Cost me a bit over $200.
cheers

Hi Gerty, dont be too eager to dispense with your topical creams or sealed sterile dressings as they are still fine to use after their expiry date. This date is more or less companies protecting their backsides from legal action. Naturally, too many years after one would replace them. One thing is for sure, they are not cheap.

cheers,

You've reminded me of when I worked on the refund counter at Target, and an old bloke wanted a refund on a pair of socks. They looked like he'd worn them every sinbgle day for a year, they were so gross! He reckoned they weren't good enough quality for the price! It's very hard to be tactful when you want to say, 'You're kidding me?!!' wtf.gif

That's what I did Marj, at the suggestion of my nurse niece. You can be more choosy about what you include. She also said a roll-out type is best,,like those toiletries bags that roll out. Easier to get at things in an emergency.
