This can also be done on your own computer without uploading/downloading on the internet by installing and using "Irfanview".... It's a freebie download available from http://www.irfanview.com/

Although free for personal use it's not "crippled" or subject to a trial period and is quite useful.

jimricho, yep but some people want an easy way, and do not want to download and learn a new program, irfanview has been around for years and is a very good program.

I've actually made a note of it as sometimes I get asked about resizing pictures by friends who, as you say, want something simple and easy.
