We found Mundrabilla RH had the cheapest diesel when we crossed in early March.

What difference does it make? Where are you going to go? Across the road to the opposition? I don't think so.
It's only 1 tank of fuel, not the price for the whole trip, fortunately.

What we do when ever in places like that is buy fuel, I think we toped up 4 times this time and had 40 litres of spare fuel on the roof that come from melbourne and didnt bother getting it down to use even though it was cheaper, Carried that 40 litres for about 6000km. Paid $2.50 a litre in 2009 in Carngiu (spelling)
cheers

Good idea Sheba, if you want OLD reports.  If you want current reports ASK!

There is a very current one entitled Fuel Prices. March 2011. Prices for all over the country in that one.

What I am getting at is that the way fuel prices are fluctuating at present any prices quoted in March could be way off now in April.  Much better to hear from someone who has travelled the area in recent days.

Dee, we reached Norseman today from the east. Mundrabilla does seem to have the cheapest after Nundroo:

Ceduna: 158.9c/L (4 Apr)

Nundroo: 159.9c/L (5 Apr)

Mundrabilla: 182.9c/L (7 Apr)

Caiguna: 198.3c/L (7 Apr)

Balladonia: 195.4c/L (7 Apr)

Cheers -

Andrea

What was it at Ceduna? Bearing in mind there are 3 roadhouses and a couple of local garages in town.

CG, we bought fuel at the Shell station (158.9c/L), but realised on the way out that the BP on the western edge of Ceduna was cheaper - can't remember how much.
